इसके बाद नीलगंगा में स्नान करके प्रसन्नचित्त हो स्थानु-आश्रम (चन्दनवाड़ी) की यात्रा करें।
हे देवी ! एक बार काम-क्रीड़ा तथा खेल की बातों में भगवान श्री सदाशिव का मुख श्री पार्वती जी के नेत्रों के साथ लग गया। हे सुंदरी! तब उनका मुख अंजन (सुरमे) के कारण काला हो गया।
फिर भगवान श्री सदाशिव जी ने सुरमे से काले हुए मुख को श्री गंगा जी में धोया, जिससे गंगा जी का रंग काला पड़ गया अत: गंगा का नाम नील गंगा प्रसिद्ध हो गया। यह नदी महापापों को नष्ट करने वाली है।
After that take bath in Neel Ganga and go towards Sthaanu-Aashram(Chandanbaadi) with cheerfulness.
O Devi! At once, God Shiva’s mouth touched the eyes of Shree Paarvati Jee during the enjoyment and his mouth became black due to collegiums.
Then Shri Sadashiv washed his mouth in Ganga, which made the color of Ganga Ji black.So, The Ganga became famous with name of Neel Gangaa. This river is destroyer of all sins.
