अमरकथा क्रमश:
नील गंगा का स्पर्श दुष्ट मनुष्यों के साथ रहकर जो दोष प्राप्त होता है, उन्हें तथा स्त्रियों के मन के विकारों का नाश करने वाला है इसमें रत्ती भर भी संदेह नहीं है। यह नील गंगा पहलगांव से 6-1⁄2 मील चंदनवाड़ी के मार्ग में है।
पूर्वकाल में भगवान श्रीसदाशिव दक्षप्रजापति की पुत्री सती का वियोग हो जाने पर हिमालय पर कठिन तप करने लगे। महेश्वरी फिर वहां पर श्री सदाशिव जी का बहुत वर्षों तक सेवा करती रही।
सती ने पर्वतराज के यहां जन्म लेकर पार्वती का रूप पाया। तपस्या करनेके पश्चात् भगवान सदाशिव की सेवा करने लगी।
लेकिन उनकी सेवा करने पर भी भगवान श्री सदाशिव की समाधि न खुलने पाई।

In amcient time, God Sadashiva began very stiff meditation on Himalaya due to death of Daksha Prajapati’s daughter Sati. Maheshwari had been serving Shree Sadaashiva there for many years.
Sati reborn at Parvata Raaj as a Paarvati.She had been serving Shree Sadashiv after completion of meditation.
But God Sadaashiv did not stop his meditation with her service.
