अमरकथा क्रमश:
तब श्री पर्वती जी चंदन वाटिका में बड़ी घबराई। जिस वाटिका में भगवान सदाशिव वृक्ष के समान निश्चल रूप से तप में स्थित थे। उस वाटिका का नाम बाद में महापाप विनाशक प्रसिद्ध हुआ। हे देवी ! इस स्थानु आश्रम (चन्दनवाड़ी) के पास जो स्नान करता है वह शिव-धाम को प्राप्त होता है।
ब्रह्म हत्या तथा गौ हत्या आदि महा पाप करने वाला मनुष्य यदि चंदन वाड़ी में स्नान करे तो समस्त पापों से मुक्त हो जाता है।
and Shree Paarvati Jee get worried in Sandalwood Garden (Chandan Vaatika), where God Shiva did his meditation as a immobile tree. After that, the Garden get famous with the name of Mahapaap Vinashak. O Devi! Those people who take bath at this Sthaanu Aashram (chandan baadi), who get Shiv-Dhaam.
