अमरकथा क्रमश:
प्रिय ! भगवान श्री सदाशिव जी देवताओं के ध्यान से प्रसन्न हुए और उनकी कृपा से देवताओं ने राक्षसों को मार-मारकर चूर्ण कर दिया। जिस स्थान पर देवताओं ने राक्षसों का चूर्ण बनाया, वहाँ पर उनकी अस्थियों का एक बहुत बड़ा ढ़ेर लग गया। और यह पर्वत , यानि पिस्सू घाटी, अब शिव भक्तों की पाप-ताप हरती है। हे देवी! “ श्री-४ शितीखण्ड” इस मंत्र को स्मरण करता हुआ जो इस पहाड़ पर चढ़ता है उसको ब्रह्मलोक प्राप्त होता है। वह ब्रह्मलोक जहाँ पर कि पाप-ताप व शोक का नाम तक भी नहीं है।
Dear! God Shiva get pleased with gods and they killed and made powder of demons with the grace of Sadaashiv. The bones of demons transformed transformed into mountain and known as Pissu Valley. Now, this valley destroys the sin and heat of shiva’s devotees. O Devi! Those who climb on this mountain by chanting mantra “Shree- Shree-Shree-Shree Shitikhand” ,who get Brahmalok. There is no sin-heat and sadness at that Brahmalok.
